Yes2Dancing, also trading as Yes2DanceClasses (Dance Classes with Ian & Penny) & Yes2SequenceBreaks (Sequence Breaks with Ian & Penny) is a different concept to your standard dance studio. For one Ian & Penny chose not to open a fixed location dance studio when they retired from International Competition in 2011, instead concentrating on building their reputation as Dance Instructors on-board cruise ships, where they can still be seen on a regular basis throughout the year. Ian & Penny took their on-board experience and started organising their own residential dance courses under the ‘Dance Classes with Ian & Penny’ banner. These 3 or 4 day courses are designed for those who want to learn, or recap, the basic Ballroom, Latin American, or popular Sequence Dances in a short time. Ideal to get ready to enjoy the dance evening on-board, at a local social dance, or for attending one of Ian & Penny’s dance breaks. Yes2SequenceBreaks (Sequence Breaks with Ian & Penny) offer dance breaks with Sequence Dancing only, whilst the original sister business Yes2DanceBreaks (Dance Breaks with Ian & Penny) offers breaks with a good mix of Ballroom, Latin, & Popular Sequence Dances.

‘Sequence Breaks with Ian & Penny’ are all about enjoying your dancing, meeting others, and having some fun in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere. Wonderful company, marvellous hospitality, and fantastic music; what more could you want from a short break away!

Ian & Penny are currently using the wonderful 4* The Abbey Hotel in Great Malvern, Worcestershire. This hotel has already proved to be in a popular central location for guest from all parts of the UK to attend. The Abbey Hotel has excellent food which caters for all dietary requirements, fantastic facilities, and friendly staff, The Abbey Hotel will be Ian & Penny’s hotel of choice for all their forthcoming breaks, although they are always on the lookout for similar venues of the same standard, so watch this space!

Over the past few years Ian & Penny have created their own successful teaching style in all the standard Ballroom and Latin dances, plus other popular styles such as Salsa, Argentine Tango, Merengue and of course, Sequence Dancing. Ian & Penny always receive great feedback for their group lessons and hosted evenings, and are well known for having a very friendly, approachable, fun, and inclusive style, which puts people instantly at ease. Ian & Penny have an extensive range of fantastic, hand-picked music, which is always being added too. They always receive great compliments for their music choices, both from those dancing, and from those in the room just relaxing and listening.
